Ag Choice has recycled more than 95,000 tons (190 million lbs) of food waste, from July of 2006 to January of 2020, that would otherwise have been landfilled or incinerated.

How the Programs Work

At this time, we do not service residential customers, restaurants, school or corporate cafeteria-waste, community collections, or private party/event waste

For Businesses or Large Volume Manufacturers

  • Step 1 – Consultation: If you are in our service area, Ag Choice will meet with you on-site to determine the type and amount of material to be diverted from the regular trash.
  • Step 2 – Collection Plan: Based on the volume of organics, Ag Choice will recommend a waste diversion program for the exclusive collection of recyclable food waste materials. Separate containers will be provided that are clearly labeled for organics collection. These will be separated from regular trash containers. Ag Choice’s established relationships with haulers can keep your existing hauler in place to provide uninterrupted diversion service.
  • Step 3 – Training: Ag Choice will train your staff on the importance and best practices to source-separate the appropriate organics, which will go into the collection containers provided.
  • Step 4 – Maintenance: The collection containers that have been sized specifically for your facility will be switched as needed.

Costs are based on volume, product type, container size, location, and frequency of pick-ups.
